Peter Stevens Garden Design began with friends and relatives seeking advice about planting or designing their gardens, which led to the establishment in1996 of a successful garden design business, from which Peter and Deborah have never looked back.
In 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009, together with their recommended landscaper, the couple designed, and built gardens for the RHS show at the BBC ‘Gardeners’ World Live’ exhibition at the NEC, for which they were awarded a Silver-Gilt and Silver medals.

Peter and Deborah below.
Peter's natural affinity with gardening became apparent from the age of nine, while helping with his parents' allotment and garden. Mowing lawns was never a chore and, during his teen years, Peter undertook odd maintenance jobs, hedge trimming or weeding.
Peter was part of a small team of gardeners looking after a large garden in north London and his practical experience grew when he moved to the Midlands.
Now, with the benefit of over 40 years gardening experience, Peter's ability to visualise and redesign gardens, recommend features to enhance the garden, structures, planting and lighting schemes, continues to delight his ever-growing clientele, regardless of garden size or style.
Deborah has always had a keen interest in the colour, form and structure of plants and flowers.
Combining this with design input, Deborah produces planting schemes that provide year round colour structure and interest.
